Amal Cherian Kathalikkattil, doing PhD in Chemical Engineering at Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea. Belongs to Thrissur District in Kerala, India. Did Masters and Bachelors in Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India.
Working in the area of Catalyst Engineering of processes involving consumption of carbon dioxide in an environmental friendly manner.
Previously worked in Crystal Engineering at CSMCRI (CSIR), Gujarat, India as Senior Research Fellow. Rational designing of Metal Organic Frameworks, Chiral and achiral coordination polymers and exploring its various applications like gas adsorption properties, crystal engineering of cocrystals and their polymorphic studies in exodentate heterocyclic systems etc were the major areas.
Also worked in National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR), India in Chemical Oceanography.
